When the World Moved On
"When the World Moved On" is an original work by Richard Colley (Shenandoah University Acting BFA '20) about a royal and her maid/ childhood best friend and the dangerous journey that they embark on in a world that no longer knows what love is. The two come across dangerous obstacles and are faced with choosing what, and who, is most important to them to rediscover what it means to love. It is a LGBTQ+ show and is about love and loss in a world of heightened reality.
This was directed by Lauren Bell (Shenandoah University Acting BFA '21) and was a production put on through Shenandoah Conservatory's, Playwrights, program. This was Cydney's first time being involved in an original cast of a new piece and started their interest in working with new shows.
